I did enjoy it ngl. But thers so maby plot holes. And no character development for jess. Oh no another damsel in distress. Who woudl have thought. It was such a good chance to make her a strong role model and not just depended on one guy. So fast moving too, wow the days most be endless and he jsut sleep like twice. The gore was good, but expected worse from the other recessions.
Das wäre um ein Haar das erste DNF des Jahres geworden. Das Buch leidet unter dem typischen Probleme des Extreme Horrorgenres... es ist einfach langweilig. Der Autor macht wie viele seiner Genrekollegen den Fehler, sich zu sehr auf den Schockeffekt der detailiert beschriebenen Gewaltexzesse zu verlassen und darüber die Figuren und den Aufbau der Story zu vernachlässigen. Was wirklich schade ist, denn es gäbe ein paar interessante Ansätze und Ideen. Nur leider werden die spannenden Passagen zu schnell abgehandelt.
