Rezension von celDrei Tage später und das Buch ist beendet, ich hatte nicht ganz eine Vorstellung darüber um was es in dem Buch gehen würde(obwohl das eigentlich offensichtlich ist), es ist ein kleines Tagebuch über die Aktivitäten in dem Garten von Amy Tan. Am Anfang war das etwas komisch, zumal ich von den meisten Vögeln noch nie gehört hatte, Kalifornische Fauna und die durchschnittlich deutsche Fauna haben einfach nicht viele Gemeinsamkeiten. Als sich diese erste Enttäuschung gelegt hatte, habe ich viel Freude an dem Buch und den Vögeln gefunden. Ich habe jetzt so eine kleine Idee von vielleicht 20 Vögeln, die ich vorher noch nie gesehen hatte und das freut mich. Jeder Tagebucheintrag ist mit einem oder mehrere Zeichnungen versehen auf die man sich freuen kann, ich hab mich vor allem immer auf die Eulen gefreut. Ich fühl mich gut, Loreena würde viele dieser Zeichnungen lieben, die ich ihr bestimmt eines Tages zeigen werde. cel
