Rezension von JohannaAls ich begann, für meine Bachelorarbeit zu recherchieren, war dies eines der ersten Bücher zum Thema "Book Bans" das mir in die Hände fiel. Ich fand es schockierend zu lesen, wie viel Hass Amanda Jones im Internet traf und es beruhigte mich, wie viel Unterstützung sie aus anderen Richtungen erhielt. Jones erzählt in diesem Buch ihre Geschichte, informiert aber auch generell über das Thema. Ich mag Jones' Schreibstil gerne - vor allem durch die ersten Kapitel bin ich trotz Notizen nebenbei sehr schnell gekommen - und finde es nach wie vor spannend, was sie zu erzählen hat.
