Rezension von StefMaybe 2.75? This one broke my heart into a million pieces - almost! The storyline was promising, but something was amiss. I think it lacked a bit of depth and was overloaded with cliches (even for me). AND the miscommunication trope just killed me! I got so frustrated at one point I almost quitted reading it. But as I pushed through it was okay in the end. Not the best but also not the worst book I ever read :)
Rezension von MagdaDas Cover meiner Ausgabe sah anders aus und war der Grund, warum ich es mir geholt habe. Es ist knallig orange und man sieht eine Schüssel voller Cornflakes mit zwei Löffeln drin (ich dachte es sind Spiegeleier, aber ok...). Das Buch ist ein einziges trauriges What-if aus der Perspektive von zwei Menschen, die sich umkreisen, anziehen, sich abstoßen um wieder zueinander zu finden und dann doch wieder versuchen voneinander loszulassen. Gleichzeitig ist es ein hoffnungsvolles what-if (?). Oder vielleicht einfach nur nah am Leben. Ich habe mit beiden Charakteren (zu) gut mitgefühlt und da meine Lesart eher eine traurige ist, war das dann ein wenig anstrengend. Empfehlenswert für ein gemütliches Wochenende mit einer Kanne Tee, wenn man ein Buch braucht, bei dem man einen Träne vergießt und sich Gedanken machen will über die Menschen im Leben, die man selber umkreist hat.
