3.5/5 Look, I binge-read the whole thing, I absolutely see the appeal and I do not dislike it but I still absolutely hate miscommunication and there is no gratification given when they finally do talk. it continues to get worse the more anxious both of them get. It might be the way the narrative swaps between the two of them that makes me feel like it's obvious how they feel about one another and what they need to discuss but half of the important conversation that should have happened just... didn't. The portrayal of internalised homophobia was nice but also a bit lackluster in terms of having any reason outside of his "pure and logical" approach to exist. At the same time, I get it as well, though.
