Another amazing cozy fanatsy novel by Sarah Beth Durst, set in the same universe as "The Spellshop" and "The Enchanted Greenhouse"! I had such a good time with this book, like the others, it made me smile and felt like a warm hug! It was a bit different than the first two. What I really liked, were the main characters. I love how Marin is so strong, tough, brave and protective and Dax is sheltered, beautiful in a fragile and artsy way and a bit helpless. I absolutely love how the cliche "woman is pretty but naive and needs saving and man is strong, brave and protective" was flipped here! I also loved to meet a few known characters again. The only thing I missed a little bit was the magic. Of course there was loads of it! But where the first two books were right in the middle of the magic, Marin and Dax felt a bit more like outside- spectators of all the magical things. Still, I really really enjoyed the book and it was an amazing addition to the series!
