Rezension von R.‘I did not expect it to be a 5 Star read literally. At first I was Like 3sat but then the sorry got way more interesting like everything clicked. Even tho the book ended in a cliffhanger. Like the whole story clicked. And omg ravyn and elspeth 🥹. Cute. I’m just very excited to read the second book. I took my time with the first book because I was on a class trip for a whole week so I couldn’t finish it. But I finished it today. Oh and at first it was so hard to follow. Overall 5 ⭐️

Rezension von MariaOne Dark Window war mittlerweile nicht nur ein Buch, das mich aus meinem Reading Slump herausholen sollte. Vielmehr wurde es eine Geschichte, die ich bis zum Ende genossen habe. Die Atmosphäre war so dicht, so herbstlich-gothic, dass sich der Wald, der Nebel und jede Szene wie ein altes Märchen angefühlt haben. Es war kein Buch, das ich unbedingt verschlingen musste, sondern vielmehr eine Geschichte, in der ich verweilen wollte. Die Autorin hat eine magische Welt geschaffen, in der Magie weder gut noch böse ist. Sie ist neutral und jeder, der sie nutzt, zahlt ihren Preis. Für mich war es nicht nur ein Buch voller Nebel, schwarzer Augen, langsamer Intimität und alter Magie, sondern ein atmosphärisches Erlebnis, das unheimlich viel Spaß gemacht hat zu durchleben.
