Rezension von BebaOld Country war für mich ein richtig spannendes Buch, eines von denen, bei denen man immer noch „nur ein Kapitel“ weiterlesen will. Die ruhige, abgelegene Atmosphäre und dieses unterschwellige Unbehagen haben mich total gepackt. Gleichzeitig hat sich der Schluss für mich nicht ganz vollständig angefühlt – als würde etwas fehlen oder offenbleiben. Auch die Idee, dass sich die Geister in jeder Jahreszeit anders zeigen, war zwar interessant, wirkte auf mich aber stellenweise eher etwas kitschig als wirklich gruselig. Trotzdem hat mich die Geschichte gefesselt und die Stimmung ist mir lange im Kopf geblieben.
