Rezension von Kristina The Nine Goblins von T. Kingfisher ist eine charmante, herzerwärmende Geschichte, die mich positiv überrascht hat. Die liebenswerten, tollpatschigen Goblins wachsen einem unglaublich schnell ans Herz (Blanchett ist einfach zu putzig) und sorgen immer wieder für humorvolle und niedliche Momente. Was zunächst wie eine leichte, süße Geschichte beginnt, entwickelt sich später in eine unerwartete Richtung und gewinnt dadurch noch einmal an Spannung.Besonders gefallen hat mir die Botschaft, dass Vorurteile oft trügen und man Menschen – oder in diesem Fall Goblins – nicht nach dem ersten Eindruck beurteilen sollte. Eine interessante, spannende, wunderbare, humorvolle und zugleich berührende Novelle, die ich jedem Fantasy-Fan empfehlen kann.
Rezension von Raphaela Die Story ist noch nicht so ausgereift, wie T. Kingfishers spätere Geschichten. Aber der Erzählton ist flüssig und einnehmend und die Geschichte ist voll von skurrilen Einfällen und liebenswerten Figuren. So witzig und leichtfüßig das Ganze zu Beginn daher kommt, so düster und brutal wird es aber zwischendurch. Wundervolles kleines Buch, das viel Spaß macht.
