The book was entertaining to read. Suspense built over time and the case got more detailed, intricate, full of potential suspects that kept you guessing. However, the end felt really rushed, as if the author first picked who it would have been and then built the story around it to make it match. The whole thing was resolved in a night not because the main character figured it out, but because the culprit decided so. Some characters felt like they only had one single purpose in the book, as fillers, to explain the unexplainable and take away complexity from the book
