Rezension von Carlos R. DiazThis zany novel was a lot of fun to read. Truth be told, I've never really seen the highly popular TV show that was adapted from this novel (I did see the movie, though). The story is about three military doctors patching people up during the Korean War, circa 1951. The superstar surgeons are assigned to 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital. Their days are filled with football games, drunken escapades, a plethora of shenanigans, and sticking their hands into bodies in the latent hopes of saving the lives attached to them. Characters, such as Hot Lips Houlihan (mmm, Hot Lips!), the irresistible and irreplaceable Hawkeye Pierce, Radar O'Reilly, and other familiar faces, partake in the crazy antics at the MASH. That is all.
