Rezension von Jenny BeyThis is an absolutely charming book with great characters. Especially Major Pettigrew, a man with strong moral ethics & a gentleman's heart. As well as Mrs Ali, a Pakistani shop owner who grown up in England but still has to fight with prejudices and marginalisation. A wonderful romantic story, in which some unexpected couples meet, new friendships are made and with a happy end. But the story is also about overcoming prejudices in a small town in the English countryside.
