Rezension von CindyA lovely well written story. Liliana was brought to life in such a beautiful way. A lovely gesture from sister to sister. Liliana was one of many unfortunately in Mexico with such a horrible end of life. I loved how she was brought to life in such a beautiful and respectful way.
Rezension von lenskaasehr sehr sehr mitreißend, mitfühlend und miterlebend. Mit so einem Buch wird einem nochmal richtig vor Augen geführt, dass Femizide mehr als nur bloße Statistiken sind (für den, dem es ohnehin nicht schon klar ist). Man lernt Liliana von so vielen Seiten kennen und lieben und bekommt aber auch großartige Einblicke dafür, dass Frauen trotz strahlendem Lächeln Opfer körperlicher und psychischer Gewalt werden können oder sogar schon sind. Geschildert werden die Geschehnisse durch Erinnerungen ihrer Schwester, (ehemalige) Freunde und Freundinnen und Familienmitglieder. Aber auch Liliana kommt zu Wort, indem Briefverläufe zwischen ihr und und dem Täter gezeigt werden. Auch wenn man bereits weiß, wie ihr Schicksal enden wird, habe ich es trotzdem nicht wahrhaben wollen, das Buch ist nämlich wie ein Countdown zu ihrer geschlechterspezifischen Ermordung geschrieben. Brutale, ehrlich, gewaltig und doch so normal und allgegenwärtig, weil keine Frau davor geschützt ist, und am Ende der Täter IMMER der alleinige Sünder ist.
