Graphic designer Jef has a hard time getting by in the big city. When a scholarship is advertised in a fashionable holiday resort, Jef ends up among the five selected artists through a high-spirited lie. Thanks to her souped-up CV, she moves into the dilapidated Villa Strand. In the group, Jef feels like an imposter; and so is she. Is Jef too uneducated to understand the elitist art, or is it in fact facing a facade? The already changeable dynamic is thrown off course by the appearance of an old woman. The woman is apparently a thorn in the side of the Strand family. Jef begins to get to the bottom of the story.
