⭐️ 4.5/5 stars I genuinely don’t even know where to start with this book because WOW. This was SO good. 😭 I’ve read quite a few books recently, but this was easily the one that completely blew me away. Like, nothing else even came close. Just for the Summer had everything I want in a book — romance, humor, emotional moments, unexpected plot twists, and characters with so much depth. What really made this book stand out to me was how emotional it was. There were so many difficult topics, trauma, and things the characters had to deal with, and it made the story feel so much deeper than just a romance. I genuinely cared about the characters and felt so invested in everything they were going through. And the plot twists?? I was NOT expecting some of them. 😭 There were so many moments where I was just sitting there thinking, WHAT IS HAPPENING?! It kept me completely hooked, and I honestly didn’t want to put the book down. I’ve already read another book by Abby Jimenez and absolutely loved it, so I already knew I liked her writing, but this book reminded me all over again why. She manages to make a story funny and romantic while also making it incredibly emotional and meaningful. Honestly, this is probably the most emotionally invested I’ve been in a book in a long time. It completely pulled me into the story, and even after finishing it, I was still thinking about the characters and everything that happened. This was, without a doubt, my favorite book I’ve read recently. Like… by FAR. One of those books where you finish it and immediately think, okay, what am I supposed to read now because nothing is going to compare to this. 😭 I’m giving it 4.5/5 stars, only because I feel like there might still be books out there that could somehow impress me even more. But honestly? This was SO close to a 5-star read. Absolutely incredible. Easily one of my favorite books ever. ❤️📖

Es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht, dieses Buch im Sommerurlaub zu lesen. Der Schreibstil gefiel mir sehr. Die Story an sich war jetzt nicht übermäßig spannend, aber trotzdem sehr schön zu lesen. Eine Leseempfehlung von mir!
