Rezension von LucyHere we have a time jump of 16 years. Wren is the daughter of Tom and Hester. They live in Vineland and lead a quiet life, but Wren wants to have adventures and gets into a chain reaction of dangerous situations. In this book, too, we meet some old characters and get to know new ones. We also learn that there is no good and evil in this world - everyone makes mistakes, everyone shows humanity. But the one who makes me angry is Hester. She really is extremely brutal... Probably needs a psychologist & hands off guns. Also how cold she is to her daughter. The lines "I wish you were never born", "stupid daughter" are disgusting. This part ends with a cliffhanger so I'm going straight into the last book. 4/5⭐
