Rezension von Dr Malini BhatWent in expecting a cozy Christmas romance… came out with a life lesson instead 🎄🙂 This book really said: here’s a childhood best friend, here’s a charming new guy, here’s all the tension… and then no one gets the girl because the girl chooses herself. Like I respect the growth. I do. But also… why am I here if not for the romance?? Ryan = stuck in the past Warren = vibes but no depth Me = waiting for something to actually happen The aunts and the Christmas cracker business carried the entire book on their backs, honestly. It’s not bad… just misleading. This is women’s fiction disguised as a rom-com and I feel a little catfished. ⭐ 3/5 — cozy, readable, but emotionally underwhelming if you came for love.
