One tragedy told from many different perspectives. The story is very interesting. You follow several characters coping with afterlife - or at least trying to. Most of them driven by the urge to find their killer. The plot develops slowly, which gives the reader time to get to know the characters and sympathise with them. Plus: the author surprises with some unexpected turns. You get the classical mob as well as the philosophical thinker all packed up in the small high school bubble. Strangely I feel everyone can more or less identify with one of the characters, I felt a bit like back at school when reading about the characters lives - which makes the book more intense. Going to proceed now with the sequel.
