Skylar has not had an easy life but after the death of her father, she sees a fresh start to her life but after catching her mother Catherine and her new step dad Travis in one to many situation that a daughter should never have to see, she makes the decision to move out and try to set up a new life for herself. Benjamin is a struggling teacher who admits defeat and opens his home up for a roommate but when his best friends' partner offers up the ideal roommate Ben is torn between making his move on the gorgeous woman or playing it safe.
