Rezension von JennyDer Abschluss der Gladiatorin-Trilogie konnte mich nicht so sehr fesseln wie die das erste Buch. Beim zweiten Buch wurde es schon wackelig, aber hier hatte ich wirklich Problem Anschluss zu finden. Ich denke, hätte ich die letzten zwei Bücher noch frisch in Erinnerungen gehabt, wäre es einfacher gewesen. Aber dieses Mal konnte ich auch nicht mit dem Schreibstil warm werden und somit mich in das Geschehen hineinversetzen wie sonst. In diesem Buch folgen wir wieder Fallon. Sie ist kämpferisch, aber dennoch liebevoll und sitzt nicht einfach untätig herum, wenn etwas passiert. Das hat aber wiederum das Tempo des Buches beeinflusst.. Es passierte so viel in so kurzer Zeit, dass ich Mühe hatte, meine Gedanken zu sammeln. Man wurde immer wieder in eine neue Situation geworfen, weswegen es mir schwer viel alles in meinem Kopf zu verarbeiten. Abgesehen davon war das Ende im Allgemeinen etwas überstürzt, aber nicht unbefriedigend. Die Charaktere haben das Ende bekommen, welches sie verdient haben. Die Plottwists waren ein wenig vorhersehbar, aber okay gemacht. Ich wünschte mir wirklich, es gäbe noch ein weiteres Buch, damit man es langsamer angehen könnte, als es der Fall war. Das Ende fühlte sich an wie ein Wasserfall an, es gab so vieles in Massen und man wusste nicht wo hin mit sich. Es fühlte sich an, als würde ich blinzeln und plötzlich waren sie an einem anderen Ort. Es gab mir nur ein wenig Zeit, alles zu verarbeiten und dann vergingen Wochen oder ein Monat und sie waren plötzlich an einem anderen Ort. Zwischenzeitlich war das schon anstrengend. Dadurch fiel es mir wieder schwerer an die Charaktere zu knüpfen, weil man so durch die Zeit durch geschleust wurde, anstatt einem etwas mehr Zeit zu lassen. Auch war das Ende und die Schlacht viel zu kurz. Es wirkte eher wie ein unfertiges Puzzle. Zu manchen Sachen fehlten mir noch Antworten. Und ja, ich weiß, dass es Open Ends gibt, aber da fehlte der Input, um noch interpretieren zu können. Fazit: Ich kann empfehlen, für diejenigen, die die Reihe beginnen sollten, dass sie die Bücher zeitnahe hintereinander lesen. Das macht schon sehr viel aus. Bei mir war immer mindestens so ein Jahr dazwischen und mir fiel es leider immer schwerer wieder hineinzufinden. Vielleicht hätte der letzte Band mir besser gefallen wenn ich noch in Erinnerung hätte, was passiert war. 2 von 5 Sternen
