Rezension von BlueberryPhonemeI was pleasantly surprised by this book. It is entirely not like the things I usually read, but as it was a collection of short stories about several characters and not a continuous story about one I found it easier to read. I enjoyed reading about all the deeply flawed characters, that were really quite different from each other. I liked Amma's, Bummi's, Morgan's and Hattie's story the most. And while the epilogue was quite sappy, I wholeheartedly loved this lighter note as an ending to this book full of emotional ups and downs. I did not like the graphicness of the SA scene in Caroles chapter. As I was recommended this book though, I did not check the content warnings, so that is on me. Another thing I did not enjoy was Rolands POV at the Afterparty. I think it was very neat having only afab perspectives, and I did not enjoy that pattern being broken. But apart from that, I enjoyed it, and am glad to have read it. It was very valuable and insightful and I learned a lot.
