This book fulfills every criteria for a good YA-Thriller. The story around Jack, Jessica and Tegan had me hooked from the first page on. It was thrilling, unexpected and exciting. The three different perspectives added more details and depth to the crime. It could have been so much easier if they had just talked (in fifth grade). But they all had their problems and got caught in a net of complex lies. The revelation at the end was unexpected to me but somehow it didn’t shock me the way I hoped it would. For me the way towards the end was better and more enjoyable than the final revelation. This book units everything YA-Thriller Fans want in their books. And it transports and important message. ‚Friends like these‘ is one of my favourites and I will definitely read more books by this author.
