Rezension von GrundFinna was an okay book that had both great things to its name and well is kinda lacking in other aspects. It's a very short read but centers around the crumbled relationship of a non binary IKEA worker and their ex girlfriend. It tackles issues with capitalism and misgendering, as well as the awkward period after a breakup when youre still forced to see each other. All in all pretty good. But. BUT it felt far too rushed in some aspects and drawn out in others. I feel like Finna would've benefited from, having at least a hundred or so pages more to allow itself the room it needed. The book had the potential to leave me with great troubled emotions but left me honestly just a bit disappointed. Its never the fun page turner you expect nor the deeply emotional end that it wants to be.
