Rezension von JasminIch habe dieses Buch aufgrund der Netflix-Serie angefangen. Vor allem, weil die Serie auf einem Cliffhanger geendet hat und ich wissen wollte, wie es weitergeht. Vorweg sollte gesagt sein, dass dieses Buch anders als die Serie ist und mir auch irgendwie ein anderes Gefühl vermittelt hat. Dennoch hatte ich viel Spaß mit diesem Buch. Die Art und Weise, in welcher der Sport des Eistanzes beleuchtet wird sowohl vom harten Training als auch vom Druck her kam mir sehr realistisch vor. Ich mochte die Beschreibungen der Auftritte sehr gern, ebenso wie das Teamgefühl. Natürlich gibt es auch ein Love-Triangle in diesem Buch, was für etwas Drama sorgt. Dennoch stand die Liebesgeschichte für mich nicht immer im Vordergrund, was mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Die Protagonistin hat gleichzeitig mit dem Druck ihrer Familie zu kämpfen. Dabei wird sowohl ihre komplizierte Beziehung zu ihrer älteren Schwester als auch die Erwartungen ihres Dads glaubhaft dargestellt. Aus meiner Sicht ein gutes Sports-Romance-Buch mit einigen tiefgründigen Themen und einer ernsten, auf ihren Sport fokussierten Protagonistin.
