Fall I Want: a small town billionaire romcom

von Lyra Parish

Format:Hardcover

The brokenhearted billionaire visits Cozy Creek to escape. I never expected to become his fake girlfriend or fall madly in love...but here we are.My first impression of Zane Alexander isn't great. The second is worse, but when he forces me to hang out with him, I can’t say no. We quickly go from familiar strangers to flirty friends. When my ex returns, Zane flawlessly pretends to be my boyfriend to protect me. He’s so damn good at it, I almost believe it. Afterward, we devise a plan to fake date through the holidays. I become his plus one and he becomes mine.I don’t know when our relationship moves from pretending to passionate, but I catch feelings. As our exes desperately crawl back into our lives like zombies, I realize there is only one man for me, and (f)all I want is him.FALL I WANT is a feel-good, spicy small-town, romantic comedy with a billionaire who falls first and harder. Grab a pumpkin spice latte, a warm fuzzy blanket, and make your way down to Cozy Creek. Each book in the series is a complete stand alone with a happily ever after.

Cute spicy fall romance, a little bit boring for my liking

Peggy Payne Rezension von Peggy Payne

<strong>Meh..</strong> This was an "ok" Fallish rom-com. I enjoyed it for the most part. It's a story of a small-town girl meeting a big city guy who came back home to the small town for a life reset. It had a lot of potential to be sweet and cute. Most of the first half was great and pulled me in. However, in my opinion, the second half was just full of unnecessary explicit adult activity. I'm no prude, but for a cute Fall rom-com, I felt it was just overkill in that aspect. So, meh... I wish I had picked up a different book.

billionaire romance & fake dating gets me every damn time. Where can I get myself a Zane Alexander? No because seriously. Autumn is literally living my dream life. Loved everything about the fall vibes, i think this was the best fall book ever written because it had EVERYTHING. Her name is literally AUTUMN. <i>"Autumn isn’t just my name; it’s my entire personality 365 days out of the year."</i> - girl same Definetly shoul've read this one in September already! This book had everything I love in a typical fall book: Small town, cute coffee shop, a looot of pumpkin (spiced coffee and scenes), 1000% autumn vibes, grumpy billionaire who looves to spend money. Overall this book just made me feel really really good! The town reminded me a bit of Stars Hollow. The book really gave the perfect witchy vibe because most of the locals and side characters believe in fate, talk about love spells and potions and magic was just everywhere. But I really enjoyed that one. I found it very fitting for the season. Zane was the ultimate Prince Charming, the way he constantly gave her ALL of the love languages made me swoon! There was a lot of praising and "good girl"s. I LOVED IT. He also kind of reminded me of Christian Grey the whole time. (I'll take both, thanks.) Plus: He called her PUMPKIN. Isn't that the cutest thing ever?? Also: I loved everything about Zanes mother! The letters written to Zane in the house and the one autumn found in the library… BAWLING!!! Literally cried my eyes out. This made the book so special! Somehow the second half of the book was a bit off. The fall vibes went missing and however, once they fell in love, that was it. It kinda got boring at some point, I think the book could've just been 150 pages shorter. Still I think it was a good & fast read. It had me giggling and blushing a lot of times. I don't think that there was too many sex scenes because it literally says "spicy small-town romance" and Lyra Parish SERVED. The scenes were fire and I <b>really</b> enjoyed reading them. Autumn and Zane’s romance is fast but I loved the magic & chemistry swirling around them. Save this book as your next first fall read I think it's one of the best books to enter pumkin season!

I found it really sweet. It was a different kind of romance, and I really liked it. At times, it moved a bit too quickly, and some parts were a bit too cringe-worthy for me. Nevertheless, I thought the pacing was very good and I'm looking forward to more books in the series!
