★★★★★ I genuinely don’t even know how to put into words how much this book affected me. I borrowed this book from a friend and didn’t read the blurb or look up anything about it beforehand. I literally just started reading — and honestly, I think that made the experience even better. I had absolutely no idea what was coming, and there were SO many moments where I just sat there thinking: WHAT IS HAPPENING?! This book was such an emotional rollercoaster. It’s a huge book, but somehow I never felt like anything was being dragged out. There were so many secrets and unanswered questions, and it took SO long until everything finally came together. I was completely invested. Like, to the point where I would stop reading, go about my day, and still think about what was happening in the book. 😭 Some parts genuinely stressed me out so much. And the way the main character was treated, especially the constant sexist insults and comments, made me so angry. It was honestly infuriating to read, but at the same time, I think it made those parts feel incredibly real and powerful. I found myself thinking about how awful sexism and the way people use those kinds of insults actually are, even when I wasn’t reading. And then the ending. Oh my GOD. I cried. A little. 😭 I absolutely loved how everything eventually came together. And more than anything, I loved what the book showed about relationships. In a world where relationships can sometimes feel so temporary and people give up on each other so easily, this book made me think: maybe it really IS possible. It wasn’t perfect or magically easy. He actually had to put in the effort. He had to fight for her, prove himself, and keep trying. And he did. He didn’t just decide, “Well, I guess it’s not going to work” and walk away. He put in the effort because she was worth it to him — and eventually, it paid off. That honestly made the ending feel so beautiful to me. I was SO emotionally invested in these characters and their story, and I think that’s the biggest compliment I can give a book. I didn’t just read it. I thought about it when I wasn’t reading. I got angry, stressed, hopeful, and emotional with the characters. This book genuinely took a little piece of my sanity while I was reading it, but in the BEST possible way. 😭 Absolutely 5 stars. I loved this book so, so much. ★★★★★

Ich war BESESSEN 😍 das buch konnte ich gar nicht aus der hand legen es war soo gut 👍

Ich habe es verschlungen. Jade ist die erste Protagonistin, bei der so offen erwähnt wird, dass sie viele Partner hatte, der ich begegnet bin und es war so schön sowas zu lesen. Kit ist dabei auch eine absolute Green Flag, der sich von Anfang an gegen das Slutshaming stellt und für Jades Selbstbestimmung als Frau einsteht, auch wenn er sie nicht leiden kann. Die beiden sind einfach toll zusammen, ob sie sich jetzt annähern oder gegenseitig Sprüche drücken. Sowohl Jade als auch Kit machen eine tolle Weiterentwicklung durch, ebenso wie auch ihre Freunde wie Zaylee. Gestört hat mich als Einziges der Third Act Break Up, aber um den kommt man leider in den meisten Romancebücher einfach nicht herum.
