I was SHOCKED.

... a whirlwind of emotions!✨️ Great characters and a great story made it easy to dive into this book. Although the beginning felt a bit slow, I was positively surprised once the story picked up the pace. I even had to surpress one or two tears (of happiness)!

ugh. that, like, sucked. a lot. i did not enjoy it. i was so confused the whole time, and hayley and sawyer were very unreliable narrators, and ella kept confusing me because she was doing some mental gymnastics going between sawyer being a good person or a bad person and then sleeping with him anyway. also, having like five different people in this book have a name beginning with the initial 's' is a criminal thing to do. seema, sawyer, sean, scott, sam, stella, sydney. i'm exaggerating, obviously, but like there are so many other letters in the alphabet to use for naming characters, and instead this author decided to use the one initial that was relevant to the plot to name all of them?
