Rezension von FrancescaEin sehr fesselndes Buch, welches den Lesenden in das London des Zweiten Weltkrieges eintauchen lässt. Der Schreibstil ist angenehm zu lesen und durch die Erzählperspektive eines auktorialen bzw. personellen Erzählers wird man direkt in die Handlung der verschiedenen Protagonisten versetzt. Die Charaktere sind sehr greifbar - bereits auf den ersten Seiten schafft es Connie Willis, dass man mitfiebert und das Buch kaum aus der Hand legen möchte.
