Rezension von HelenI liked this one just as much as “Learning Curves“. I don’t usually reach for pure romance, but… it’s sapphic, so obviously I was instantly interested. I love that the characters are adult women who actually behave like adults. No pointless drama, no wild miscommunication, no unnecessary chaos and honestly, I appreciate that more than I can express. Sure, there’s not much action, and you definitely have to be in the mood for something soft and quiet, but if you are, you’ll have a lovely time. The bodyguard trope was great, and honestly? This might be my favorite Rachel Lacey book so far.
Rezension von LensI loved the representation in this book! And the MCs had real chemistry and a cute romance with interesting character traits. The writing style however was a little to overly dramatic for my taste with sentences that I've read a million times before. And it lacked a few scene descriptions for me: I struggled to imagine them in some scenes because the setting wasnt explained. Overall I like the book and would recommend it to anyone who wants to read a cozy spicy lesbian bodyguard-romance with some yearning and slow pacing while its adressing serious themes! Therapy is always the solution!!
