Rezension von JosieBezüglich der Handlung muss ich sagen, dass diese zu Beginn etwas schleppend war. Lange Zeit gibt es keine großen Entwicklungen; das Tempo hätte hier etwas angezogen werden können. Das Ende jedoch hat es echt in sich! Da haben sich die Ereignisse dann nur so überschlagen und ich konnte das Buch nicht mehr aus der Hand legen! Der Schreibstil ist angenehm, wenngleich manchmal etwas holprig und ungeübt. Trotzdem mochte ich ihn und habe das Lesen genossen. Schlussendlich noch ein paar Worte zu dem Gefühl: Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass „Cast in Firelight“ ein Jugendbuch aus dem Fantasy-Bereich ist, lag natürlich darauf der Fokus. Auch sind die Charas noch recht kindlich, weshalb die Emotionen für mich meist an der Oberfläche blieben. Dennoch gab es einige süße Szenen zwischen Adraa und Jatin, die eine schöne Atmosphäre geschaffen haben und die Vertrautheit der beiden aufgezeigt haben. Ich hoffe, das hier in Band 2 noch eine Schippe draufgelegt wird! Fazit: „Cast in Firelight“ ist ein tolles Fantasy-Buch, das meiner Meinung nach perfekt für Fantasy-Einsteiger*innen und junge Leser*innen geeignet ist. Ich empfehle es definitiv und werde die Geschichte auch in Band 2 weiterverfolgen!
