The forest-dwelling elves called the Wolfriders are burnt out of their ancestral home by vengeful and superstitious humans. Betrayed by the cowardly trolls, the elfin band, led by Cutter, Blood of Ten Chiefs, must cross the Burning Waste to find a haven they've never seen before. So begins the first quest that leads to many, including the search for other tribes -- Sun Folk, Go-backs, Gliders, Wavedancers etc. Starting at the dawn of early humans on an Earth-like World of Two Moons, this fantasy adventure leads to answers about the space-faring origins of the elves, the mystery of the wolf blood which makes the Wolfriders mortal unlike other elves, the search for the lost Palace of the High Ones, great love and great loss.
