This is the second book I've read by this author, and although I liked the other better, it was mainly because it was more thriller. This book seemed more like family drama, women's fiction with a little suspense tied in. I was wholly invested with the characters though and felt like I was a part of their world. The book felt like it was a little too long but I stayed invested and didn't lose interest, so that's saying something. Overall I would recommend for others.
