Die Geschichte baut sich langsam aber echt spannend auf. Am Anfang war ich mir noch unsicher ob es wirklich gut ist doch zum Ende hin war es wirklich gut! Es machte mich mal nach langem wieder süchtig und gespannt

An enjoyable read with a story that stayed with me. Did not like the pic tho salty and sweet...🍓

The story was short but sweet, I can't really complain about this because although it's an "enemies to lovers" situation between the two main characters, there is no outright violence or a situation where the woman is mentally and/or physically abused in a sick way. It was actually quite cute as both discover each other’s personalities and end up falling in love. But I also think it's one of the more "harmless" mafia romances. Cal, the male main character here is a rather bad-tempered, 30-year-old workaholic, who is often a little too annoyed, nevertheless he seems to me to be a character who, in the face of the facts such as love, or desire does not act immediately out of emotions, but thinks about the next steps as logically as possible. What I like, because most guys in dark romance always act like they're constantly thinking only with their d***. As for the main female character, I have to say I wasn't that enthusiastic about her at first. She seemed very childish, loud and sometimes stupid. Typical spoiled little princess type. Especially the scene in the library when she throws the curtains into the fire, and then claims she did not want half the house to burn down, was for me just another moment in which I wonder why female characters are always either totally insufferable and arrogantly written, or stupid, loud and childish. Followed by the scene in which she is to blame for the fact that her brother, the athlete, gets his knee destroyed. For me she felt too less guilt in that aspect. She didn't just drag him to the party, burned down half the library in the house, and then lied instead of admitting it, she also provoked the dude so that her brother was hurt because of her…. Well…nothing much to sad about that. At the end of the book she proved that she is actually not so stupid, or so childish. She seemed to be very tough and not too anxious, which I liked. Also that she could prove that a woman can also save a man, and not always the guys get to be the hero’s was quite nice. Would definitely recommend to check the series out, might get the second book too. Heard it’s even better.

A történet alapja egészen jó volt. Tetszett hogy nem volt benne egy mondvacsinált probléma ami miatt a főszereplőink elválnak...stb. Viszomt sokszor nem értettem hogy hol vagyunk mit csinálunk annyira öszevisszaság volt a fejemben. A szereplők sem voltak túl kifolgozottak, nem éreztem köztük azt a vonzalmat az átalakulást ellenségekből szerelmesekké. A sztory amúgy jó volt nekem mondjuk kicsit zavaros volt ez a maffiás rész. Összeségében ez egy jó történet volt viszont voltak benne logikai bukfencek amiket nem tudtam hova tenni.
