Vanity press author Horace Meeker finally gets the opportunity to launch a book tour, which will take him from the hollers of eastern Kentucky throughout the Deep South, down to New Orleans. He takes with him a trunk load of books in a beat-up old car, along with a huge inferiority complex and a misguided belief that he'll sell enough books to make the bestseller list. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Rick Zabel is a graduate of Southern Illinois University. Along with "Book Tour," he has also written "Pluto's Garden," "Save the Wild Ass," and "Upon the Breasts of Heaven." Rick is currently working on his fifth novel, "Working-Class Heroes." He lives in Champaign, Illinois.
