What in the ever-loving Twilight fanfiction was that?!😭 To be fair, I love classics, I’m just not a big fan of modern retellings and all that. But this? This took it to a whole new level. It just wasn’t for me at all. The plot felt all over the place, the pacing was weird, and the characters (and their interactions??) felt so painfully unnatural. The dialogue made me cringe so hard I almost left my body 💀 I think I need to go reread Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby just to recover and remember what inner peace feels like. That being said, if over-the-top retellings are your vibe, you might actually have a good time with it. It’s definitely… an experience.
