Wahrscheinlich ist mein Englisch einfach zu schlecht, aber ich habe da gar nicht reingefunden und nur sehr wenig verstanden leider.

i read like two poems and thought:“is the whole collection about jesus“. its no suprise considering the author was a priest. but still, if you dont like christian poetry i wouldnt recommend. i thought, the extract from hopkins journal was much more interesting. ironically, because it feels like half the time he talk about the weather. the poems werent bad written though. hopkins only uses end rhymes which makes quite ordinary. the flavour is missing.
