Rezension von Carina3.5 Stars. It's not that I didn't like Anne of the Island. It just didn't seem as good as the first volume. Not as beautiful. But I'm happy to finally see Anne and Gilbert together
Rezension von LucyI read Anne of the Island in no time – I just couldn’t put it down. It made me laugh, but also really moved me. Some of the sad parts really stuck with me long after I finished. What really caught my attention was how Anne grows up – she starts off as this dreamy, imaginative girl, and slowly becomes a young woman who’s figuring things out at university and beginning to find her place in the world. You can really see her letting go of her old romantic ideas too. Realising that her “perfect prince” doesn’t exist the way she imagined is such a bittersweet moment. Life doesn’t always go how we picture it – and that’s exactly what makes her story feel so real and touching. It’s a beautiful, more grown-up part of the series.
Rezension von catalina cortezAnne is in college now with her friends in a beautiful little house and was just so wholesome. The best part was the final, I just waited so much for this that I cannot believe that finally happened.
