Rezension von BellezhoWhen I ordered the book, I didn't expect to devour it in just 2 days. In the book we follow the story of Prisca, a young woman who lives a very dangerous life, as do many of her kind. The reader is thrown into a rather bloody and gruesome scene from the very beginning and quickly understands that the title of the book is truly confirmed. The FMC leads us through an adventure in which she confronts her own past and Revenge, on this journey she encounters a group of rather cruel men who at first save her but then abandon her. Filled with hatred for the world, the young woman makes it her mission to take revenge on anyone who puts her life in danger, which in 2 cases ends in bloodshed. When she later reunites with the men who left her for dead, she decides to fight. However, she is convicted by Lorian, the former leader of the troupe. And from then on, the young woman makes an interesting pact that not only takes her to the end of her rope but also leads her into very dangerous political situations. If you like a strong FMC and a murderous, cruel MC, this is for you. I really liked the world setting, the writing style and everything around it, it's slow burn and the spice is well potioned, which is why the book gets a full 5 star rating from me!
