Rezension von Eni"I love you and my love for you makes any other life a lie". In terms of language this is the most beautiful book I have read in a long time. I loved how her inner world merges with reality and feels just as tangable. It is not only a book about love and loss, it is also about breaking circles, letting love become almost frighteningly deep. It's about what's written on the body, on the body and on the mind. "...how easy it is to destroy the past and how difficult to forget about it."
Rezension von Lena SchalentierJeanette Winterson ist einfach nur gut. Ich liebe ihren Stil und wie gay sich alles liest? Die*der Protagonist*in ist bewusst geschlechtsneutral gehalten und das find ich ne sehr spannende Entscheidung, die richtig gut aufgeht. Ach, ich lieb‘s einfach.
