Rezension von Shiwa.kNoch besser als Band 1! Der zweite Teil hat mich noch mehr gepackt – vor allem wegen der beiden großartigen Protagonist*innen. Freddy mit all seinen Unsicherheiten wirkt so greifbar, und Ro geht so liebevoll mit ihm um. Ihre Verbindung ist langsam gewachsen, fast zärtlich – ein Slowburn, der mich überrascht und begeistert hat. Besonders mochte ich, wie Musik im Buch eingesetzt wurde: nicht als Playlist, sondern ganz natürlich in bestimmten Momenten – das hat Atmosphäre geschaffen. Auch die Beziehung zu den Eltern war feinfühlig und berührend erzählt. Die Spice-Szenen waren detailliert, aber dabei gut dosiert und stimmig in die Handlung eingebettet – sie haben die emotionale Tiefe der Beziehung schön unterstrichen. Eine authentische, gefühlvolle Liebesgeschichte, die positiv aus dem Genre heraussticht.
