Ich liebe Adriana. Ich denke, sie ist mein Lieblingscharakter in den ganzen Büchern. Ihre Beleidigungen waren auch einfach herrlich. Ich musste manchmal ganz schön lachen. Gluttony fand ich am Anfang etwas unausstehlich. Sein Ego war mir etwas viel, aber ich habe ihn dann doch lieb gewonnen. Die Storyline mit den Drachen hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es war schmerzlich zu lesen, wie sehr Gluttony mit Silvanus's Wahnsinn zu kämpfen hatte.

Because I really enjoy all the stories about the Wicked, I was beyond excited to read more about another Prince of Sin. I really liked this book, but for a few reasons, it’s my least favorite installment in The World of the Wicked. While I immensely appreciated the adjustments in the writing style—there was a huge improvement in reading flow compared to Throne of the Fallen, though that might be due to the translation—it often felt repetitive. Sometimes, I found myself thinking, Yeah, I know or You don’t have to remind me again. I liked the dual POVs, but maybe that contributed to the repetitiveness. The balance between revisiting the same events from different perspectives and introducing new information didn’t feel quite refined. Although I genuinely love Cinderella and Bridgerton, this story reminded me of them one too many times, making me zone out and lose engagement with what was happening in the moment. Unlike some other reviewers, I didn’t feel like the ending was rushed. All the necessary information was woven in page by page, with hints that were obvious enough. The conclusion simply put the final pieces together, summing up what we had already seen. Very early on, it became clear to me that this wasn’t a classic ETL—they were never really enemies to begin with. Besides the spice, it was more of a sweet lovebirds-just-need-to-realize-they-can-fly kind of story. Don’t get me wrong—I loved cheering for the MCs as they overcame their fears. I also really enjoyed the plot that the romance was set in. And I immediately fell in love with little Vex! He‘s a truely exquisite sprinkle to the icing. Soooo… overall, I was happy reading this and had a great time. It wasn’t quite the kicking-my-foot-in-the-air story I was hoping for, it’s a 3.5 stars rating for me, but I’m still excited to read more about the Wicked. There are so many more Princes of Sin I want to dream about! I’m curious to see who will find their true love next—hopefully Lust or Pride.

Ein absolutes Muss!!! Ich freu mich aufs nächste Sündenhaus... Es blieb bis zur letzten Minute spannend und hatt mich am Ende sehr überrascht *-*
