Rezension von NadineWer erwartet bei diesem Dan Brown in historische Symboliken abzutauchen, wird hier enttäuscht. Symbolik spielt in diesem Buch nur eine nebensächliche Rolle, im Fokus steht die Frage aller Fragen: was ist eigentlich unser Bewusstsein und was steckt dahinter? Wie immer werden aber politische Verschwörungen und Machtspiele in die Geschichte von Robert Langdon verwoben und so findet man sich eben doch in einer bekannten Welt wieder.

Brown shifts into deeper, more philosophical territory — thought-provoking but not quite as gripping as his earlier work. Still a solid read if you're into the intersection of science and spirituality. 7.5/10
Rezension von Katja_H_Punkt5 von 5 Sterne!!! ...wären da nicht die Punktabzüge... 1) ...für das konstante Mansplainen von Robert Langdon 2) ...für den etwas sehr absurden Plot 3) ...für die verzweifelten Versuche des Autors, irgendwie an "Da Vinci Code"/"Sakrileg" anzuknüpfen, indem völlig unnötiger- und unpassenderweise Bibelzitate und Codes/Ikonographie eingestreut werden. (Immerhin weiß ich jetzt mehr über das Starbucks-Logo.) 4) ...dafür, dass Dan Brown scheinbar glaubt, dass eine Frau, die sich im Bett die Beine rasiert, immer Sex will. ( 1) Ähm, nein. 2) Wer rasiert sich denn in einem Hotelbett die Beine?) ----- Werde ich den nächsten Dan Brown auch wieder lesen? Vermutlich #hatereading Aber vielleicht werde ich kein Geld mehr dafür ausgeben. Ein Hoch auf Bibliotheken!
