"Captured and alone, it's taking all of Rhya Fleetwood's strength not to sink into darkness. As each day passes, she can feel her mind unraveling and her power slipping away until there's no more magic, no more hope...no more Rhya. Soren and Penn will flood, scorch, and obliterate their way through Anwyvn to get back the woman they love. But even if they manage, the Rhya they rescue may not be the one they lost. The realm needs all four of the fated Remnants--Earth, Fire, Water, Air--to restore the balance. A prophecy looms, awaiting fulfillment, as does the deadly sorcery brewing in the Southlands. Rhya must retake her rightful place before it's too late. Her mind may be frayed, but some bonds refuse to be severed...and some loves are so strong, nothing--not even oblivion-can erase them"-- Provided by publisher.
