Reviewed by coffeedate.with.meI'm really conflicted with this book. On the one hand the first 200 pages were a drag, it was such a slow start and I did not enjoy the setting. On the other hand I very much enjoyed the ethical questions in relation to female robots, awareness of sexism in tech and the Madonna whore complex. Asides from all the technical stuff, having a robot as a main character is a very interesting approach to a thriller.

Reviewed by JuliaDefinitely one of my favorite books for 2020 so far. Brilliant pageturner with cutting-edge suspense and unexpected plot twists, and I mean REALLY unexpected. Plus, stories about AIs, espacially empathetic ones, are fascinating by its nature. I finished it yesterday but I'm still not done with it. If I could I'd give six stars.
