Rezension von Ellen SchulzeIch kann nicht anders. Ich fürchte, ich muss allen Büchern von Diana Wynne Jones 5 Sterne geben. Es ist mir egal, was die Frau schreibt, ich liebe es einfach. Christopher bemerkt schnell, dass er besonders ist - denn er reist in seinen Träumen oft durch andere Welten. Als er dann auch noch herausfindet, dass er mehr als ein Leben hat, soll er der nächste Chrestomanci werden. Aber er hat eigentlich ganz andere Pläne. Und neun Leben zu haben ist eine Sache - sie zu behalten eine ganz andere ... Es fällt mir schwer, in Worte zu fassen, warum mich Jones Geschichten so faszinieren. Vielleicht ist es die Mischung aus Magie, Fantasie und Märchen. Vielleicht erinnert es mich an meine Kindheit und bringt mir das Kindsein ein wenig zurück. Vielleicht auch, weil die Erzählart so ganz anders ist als die Bücher aus der jetzigen Zeit. Ich fand es so schön, mehr über die Charaktere aus "Charmed Life" zu erfahren. Allen voran natürlich über Christopher, aber auch einige andere Charaktere tauchen wieder auf und die ganze Welt wird größer. Ich muss glaube ich nicht extra erwähnen, dass ich in der Reihe natürlich weiterlesen werde ...
