The Early Adventures are a range designed to tell stories in long gone Doctor Who eras, with narration from some of the actors there at the time. Here Maureen O'Brien and Peter Purves reprise their 1964 roles as the Doctor's assistants Vicky and Steven. Peter Purves - known and loved by a generation as one of the definitive Blue Peter presenters, not only recreates his companion role, but gives a careful, fond impersonation of First Doctor actor William Hartnell. This 2018 run of four Early Adventures tales creates a self-contained story arc with the Doctor, Vicky and Steven confronting enemies old and new.
