I’ve said it before. I will scream it in your face again. No one does a rom com like Elizabeth O‘Roark. The sheer perfection of her novels is unbelievable. You have to experience it yourself. She could make a grocery list be worth a read. And I’d probably get emotional reading it. She just has the perfect amount of humor and teasing but also sweetness and spice and tension and it’s just perfect. She writes the blueprints for romances. Also no one writes enemies to lovers like her. I’ve talked about her amazing writing too often already but she keeps amazing me. It’s just so captivating and beautiful. And her dialogues are so impeccably written. Her books are just perfection. I never can think of anything bad about them and this one was no difference. The perfect amount of fun and emotions. Of falling and love and crying. Of teasing and groveling. Of simping and enjoying. I devoured this in one day. And only stopped reading to eat. I already know I will cry when the day comes and I’ve caught up with all her books. 5
