Felt like Misery by stephen King badly rewritten. I could guess every plottwist so it wasn't very entertaining.

I loved it! It totally met — and even exceeded — my expectations. This book was SO tense, I was nervous the whole time reading it ‘cause the atmosphere was honestly terrifying, at least for me. I really liked the characters too. The plot itself felt kinda insignificant, but I didn’t even care — I was way more focused on the story as a whole, and that part was just perfect.
