Reviewed by Spelly BellaI loved the descriptions and the vocabulary. Lemony Snicket has a way with words that I love so much. The storyline is very touching yet simple and in the following books a lot more layers are shown to the reader.
Reviewed by hbicsI decided to re-read this series in light of the new Netflix show, and I have to say not only did I enjoy the nostalgia of it all, but the show really did a good job of updating the medium through which this story is told.
