Erst im Januar habe ich den ersten Teil der Rebel Blue Ranch Reihe gelesen und mich sofort in diesen Ort verliebt. Auch Band zwei rund um Wes und Ada hat mein Herz im Sturm erobert. Ada mit ihrem Fluchtinstinkt und der Angst, gefangen zu sein. Wes, der gutmütige Cowboy, der sich ehrlich und verletzlich zeigt. Ich habe es so geliebt, wie die beiden direkt eine Verbindung zueinander aufgebaut haben. Wie sie sich langsam öffnen und beginnen sich zu vertrauen. Und das immer mit offener Kommunikation. Es wird miteinander gesprochen. Es wird nichts unnötig verheimlicht oder irgendwie in die Länge gezogen. Gerade am Ende war ich kurz den Tränen nahe, weil man einfach durch die Seiten spüren konnte, wie sehr die beiden zueinander passen. Die Handlung ist jetzt nicht gerade spannend oder besonders abwechslungsreich, teilweise fehlte hier eindeutig der drive, aber der Fokus war eben die Liebesgeschichte und genau das war es, was ich gerade gebraucht habe. Einfach schön!

Wie auch schon der erste Band hatte mich dieses Buch direkt in seinem Sog und ich wollte es gar nicht mehr aus der Hand legen! Die perfekte Reihe um einfach mal abzuschalten.
